We understand that your wedding gown is the one outfit in your life that you want to fit flawlessly.

The Perfect Dress still believes in offering you a full-service experience, therefore we provide an in-house alterations department. We have the pleasure of working with subcontracted, skilled wedding gown seamstresses who have been in the industry for over twenty years. From expected alterations to completely customizing your gown – we’re happy to help make your dreams come true.

When you are ready to come back and see one of our contracted seamstresses, we would be happy to schedule a fitting for you about 6-8 weeks before your big day. We recommend beginning the alterations process at this time to allow anywhere from two to four dress fitting appointments.

Please keep in mind that alterations are a separate expense and not included in the purchase of your wedding gown. We’d love to see you, but we also understand if travel/schedule may not be convenient for you. If you do not prefer to travel to Sarasota for multiple fittings, we encourage you to research bridal seamstresses in your area for a more convenient alterations process.

The Perfect Dress’ contracted seamstresses do not alter gowns not purchased at our store.
